I was able to create a patch file for Hue in BFV. However, I have since tried with Irving and Hastings, and all i get is corrupt data. I open the map.rfa, in winrfa select the files as noted above in Urglub's tut (extract the selection to a folder) then open the 001 from DICE and select the files I need (extract the selection to the same folder as above) and then pack the bfvietnam folder i created in the folder i extracted the above to. I then rename the patch to say 003 and should be done. However, after just changing the fantom in irving to a mig17 i get corrupt data. (yet if i take my patch out and leave DICEs 001 in the server there are no issues). As soon as i take out the 001 and put my 003 in the server, I have problem. Has anyone simply created clean patches for the ss files prior to making any changes? |

Then you did something wrong. Sort it out with beginrem and endrem. Happy remming |

I figured it out. all had to do with winRFA defaulting the first letters of the patch name as upper case and not lower case. |
