Im Sorry, Im talking about BFV which does not have winglift on helos. I looked at your idea and the movement was a little uncontrollable. I think a bot may work, and perhaps making a coop map with just pilot bot. I understand the code to make a bot draw towards a certain vehicle, but not sure if the bot can always spawn in the chinook and then to tell the bot to fly level in a circle around a map not sure. But I thought there was a POE map that had a drone, maybe it was BF2, cant recall. Seems like lots of peeps in BFV have wondered if bots will work in conquest, but no real break throughs yet i guess. I even looked at tkos code to add the ship engine to the tank and had that working on the helo, but it only flew in straight lines. argh! |

have you tried addtemplate a rudder or a flap from a plane? or adjust the position of an engine? |

I assume a big problem with the circling plane/chopper would be the engines themselves. As the rate of turning is also defined by the current speed and the engines don't start "full-powered", their circle would become wider after the first minutes of flying, thus probably messing up the controls again...can't think of a way that wouldn't require incredible amounts of tweaking and try&error... |

there is a bf42 df server that has planes flying in perfect circles and if i remember it right you can here the engines roaring to. (no bots) ill often wondered how they did that, will see if i can find the server and check it out. |

Yeah added rudder and used the add engine code for bfv and it moved forward, but no rotor movement. ill tweak some more, but i am looking for the code that triggers the engines once someone is in the seat... |
