just to toss this in......i modded Omaha beach in the BF42 DC_Final mod and put a tank under water....well partially under water.....seems if you don't put the turret compleatly under water it takes no damage and can be drivin ashore.

So maybe a mudhole on the map with some bushes around it may be your answer for a sneaky attack:)

1942 isnt the same as bfv.... if i simply drive a jeep into water, it takes damage... so ud have to make the .damagewhenwaterdamage (too lazy to look 2 see if this is right) be 0 first...

i made a custom map for nam, and i added jets in a completely underground runway..(thats what got my berlin map started) didnt work, cuz the planes were above ground. anyways, i had a huge opening for the jets, so i flew one in, but as soon as it hits underground-BAM!

so its impossible.

the easiest thing is to make a deep thing undewr ground, level it with side walks or walls, and put buildings over it, and leave a nice entrance fora jet. or any other vehicle. this is, of course, done in bcv.


now if someone were to find a magical code to let spawning vehicles underground... i would so download that mod (hint hint) and make a awesome map with it...
