Sweet, I ahve played on your server, but didn't discovered that yet.

It's random kills from machinguns with sniper bullits or MG bullits.
Sniper rifle itself doesn't have radius.

what if it was possible to change the rocket splash to a rifle splash which rarely penetrates glass instead of the frequent rocket penetrating?

To twist things around.
Lower radius on bullets.

Think of this as damaged mesuring device in meter -
This is pilots head o
This is a rocket <
This is the window |

-o-----|< Pilot damaged by rocket if radius is over 6.
Lower radius to 4
o ----|< Now radius doesn't reach pilot.
Magicly he survives this hit.

As pilot is pretty close to window, I thin radius under 1 meter will work.

Radius has 0% damage in outer end of splash and ~99% damage next to projectile.

Change sniper material for rocket material is same thing, it just hurt a bit less.
