Hello to all Modders on this site.

I modded Bf1942 and FH there for awhile. I'm now into Vietnam and modding.. some of it is mostly the same but some I'm not too familiar with.. so here goes...

What I wanna do.. on the Huey Gunship, how do I make the pilot access the machine gun? On the Cobra, how do I access the machine with the pilot too? On the C47 how do I make it into a C130 with the look of a C47? (Flak gun on the middle gun, and a cannon on the back gun). And how do I attach a healing spot on the Huey Slick?

Okay.. but can't I just switch the ammo type for the 3 guns on the AC-47 (Can I add an explosive animation? Like an explosion on impact?) And also, can't I just change the firing rate and velocity, ect.? And the Gunship.. isn't that like no problem? Just add a weapon to the alt fire instead of the hitch.

Thank you for the medic help. Also.. one more thing, I have an idea. How do I add the option to be able to see the scope on an artillery call? Like could I say.. add the ability to a plane for airstrikes? Just an idea. Just to see the target, not use it for spotting. May I also add extra seats? Like to the AH Loach and the huey's. Please help.

Pretty much everything you asked for must be client side. Everyone will need to download the custom maps to play. Don't expect visual changes when server side modding. Most of that can be done client side though, but the calling in an airstrike would be trouble. The scope idea might not work :(

But what the heck? I know you can change the ammo type of the miniguns... so can't I just code it to have a slower fire rate, slower reload time, and change it so that it fires cannon shells. idc if there's explosions or not.

The Assault Huey.. it has the hitch.. can't I just change the ammo type of that too, and make the co-pilot man the hitch. Then I can always just add a new weapon serverside, I know I can.. I've done it with 1942, it can't be that different, if it is absolutely no problem man please just tell how I can do this, if I can. The slick huey.. health attachment that's fine with me, thanks again for that.

You can change tracer of the 2 miniguns to whatever.
Will you see it?
Nope, not at all.
Will it kill stuff.
Yes, alot.
Tracers is set to 0.5/0/0
Projectiles are non working on this gun, only tracers.
Set tracer to 2/0/0 and every second projectile will do damage.
This way you can ad 2 differant projectile to one gun.
One tracer and one projectile.

But everybode will see it as a minigun anyway.
