why can't i UPDATE BF2 i just got from the CD i have version 1.0 and when i try to upgrade to 1.2 or any other updates it just says "can't find install folder for battlefield 2" any ides? the first one i tried was 1.01 still no idea???? |

Sounds like it can't find the registry key stating where BF2 is installed to. Also BF2 is at 1.41 so I would first download the full 1.41 patch. You might have to reinstall BF2 to get it "repair" the registry. |

ok...thanks, i reinstalled...and it worked..i have 1.42 and i am bathing in mods lol....pirates, sandbox, camobox ect.. |
