Battlefield Modding Tutorials BFMODS

OK how do you mod battlefield 2 im not sure where to start. I know you use note pad and im fine with that but can some one give me an easy simple process.I know that you unzip something but im not sure or how you look at the weapon charateristics ect.

what i want to know

where is the file like Objects.rfa
How to open and look at it

how to edit maps

Ok the objects are stored in 2 different zip files. battlefield2/mods/bf2/objects_server.zip has most of the coding and is where you will probly be doing most of the modding. battlefield2/mods/bf2/objects_client.zip is where the textures/meshs are stored. To edit a weapon open up objects_server/weapons/handheld then find the folder of the weapon you want to edit, in the folder open the your_weapon_choice.tweak (Please note that is not the real name of the tweak file) you will see a bunch of propertys like magsize and roundsperminute and stuff like that. I made an offline acocunt and now that i changed up wake all i did is make sniper spawn with a M95 and the M95 has 3 zoom levesl BUT i made a shortcut witch im sure is right. The back round is black and no maps show up when i do create local. So my mod is just like a blank file with the tabs


ALSO I NEED CRAZY HELP WITH GMAX i would like it if some 1 would give me there x fire and walk me through it

Okay im Using BF2 Editor does any1 know how i wil make new objects? Im gonna make all my skins ,models ect. Can anyone either help me with G max give me you x fire and walk me through modeling ( i prefer this 1 ). And how would you makke like a pilot kit preferably just a wrench , medkit, mabye a M16 or AK-47. Would i do something like this

then in BF2 Editor can you skin in that im just scrathing the top there seems to be lots of helpful tools THAT IM NOT UNDERSTANDEING I would appreciate you guys helping me
