not the py file. the weapon_name_here.tweak in that you will find a line with itemIndex 3 (or some other number, it depends on the weapon). You will need to change that number to an avaible slot for each weapon (or rework all the kits and weapons to make a number avaible). There is no easy way to do it, and I'm not sure if I can explain it an easy way (easy explinations are somthing Im not very good at). If some one else gets what Im saying feel free to clear it up, otherwise you will have to wait until I have time to do a thorough explination (probably later tonight or tomorrow before I can write it up). |

Weapon indices are the same as the number you press on your Keyboard to select that weapon, ie the assault rifle has an index 3, which means you have to press "e" to get it. Now, you can add the unlockable weapons to the weapn set of your kit pretty easily. instead of the unlockcontainer, you just add the name of the weapon you want to have. Problem is, when you do so, 2 weapons will be assigned the same index, causing confilicts and crashes. So you change the indexnumber to something usefull. Open up Objects_server.zip. Then go to the Weapons/Handheld folder. Pick the weapon youd like to change the index from, say the barret (USSNI_M95), and open the folder that has that name. Now in there theres an tweak file and in that tweak file there must be a line like this: ObjectTemplate.itemIndex 3 . Change that to somerhing that is not used in the kit (snipers have only a few weapons, 6 probably inst used so you cna use that one), like this: ObjectTemplate.itemIndex 6 . Now when you pick up the kit, you should ahve the normal rifle at position 3 and the barret at 6, hope you get the point. |
