Ok the flag is fixed! It works with a server. The minimap updates properly. It follows the player. There is still a few bugs, but that's ok.
Some things that should be looked into. I don't know if it is possible to fix any of them, but we do need to try. Some things may already have been fix since the last py script you sent me. (There is not necessarily any order to these, some are more importnat than others, like the flag dieing and such).
Current Issues/Bugs:
(Flag PCO)
1) When the flag dies in any manner, it will no longer wrok properly. The game doesn't crash, but the flag stays at its spawn location.
2) When the two flag PCOs come near to eachother, it appears that they both "die".
3) Armor is need. That is why it was crashing. Now the problem is that they need to be made invincible and yet still have armor.
4) Still no 3D map icon
5) Maybe add a pole to the flag and stick at an angle out of the soldiers backpack?
(Python issues)
1) When player dies, the flag still follows them. (It no longer follows across side however).
2) When the flag PCO cannot be moved, sometimes the master CP will be substituted. (Most notably happen when switching sides after flag PCO dies).
(either or)
1) Flag is always pointing south.
notice how the flag is blowing toward the front of the DPV despite the fact the DPV is also driving in that direction? If the player turns, the flag still blow in the same direction, south.
2) Flashing player name, name tag visible despite distance, added icon to player name (like the medic symbol after name).
3) Remove flag from master CP (the CP with ids 98/99 still have flags at all times).
4) Sounds
Here is the flag PCOs. A short tutorial is included. Remeber, this object is made with the intent to be used in my mod. You WILL need to modify it a little before it will work for you (the minimap icon what come to mind at the moment).

Oh, forgot to add:
The flag (once capped) stays at the flag pole. It does not return to its home base.
