The easiest way is to play around with each variable by changing it
drastically. The two engine system of BF2 works well with either engine
type.
You need to decide which engine type you want to use first, either jet or helicopter.

Since I am now a member of DCon's mod team I can't disclose what I
have changed. Someone may have a copy of what changes I made early
on though.

I have gotten the helo's to fly very near DC-F using both methods. The
variety of the BF2 codes makes for easy adjustments, but since there is so
much that is new to test, it is difficult just to remember which one does
what.
The secret is to look through at the other Objects since the code can be
used in different locations for different jobs.

I am still waiting for this site to take off. (everyones playing I suppose)
I would like to help out as much as I can and I would also like input from
this site as to what I can add in the Full Mod so SSM's can be more
creative in the end.

Add the Kiowa Warrior (OH-58D). I can provide detailed specs, 2 real Kiowa pilots to help get feel right, anything that's not classified...but we're going for fun, not realism so I doubt it would even come up. I hate the sounds in BF2. That's the only place I think that realism has for a game like this. I've been thinking that instead of having UAV's, make the helo's MMS act like a UAV so long as the co-pilot is looking in that direction. The real OH-58D has absolutely NO automatic flight systems. No autohover bs, no autostabilization. I've got some funny videos they sent me of stuff that's happened on training exercises in addition to the usual vids of blowing stuff up. They think it's important that the Kiowa's role as a scout/recon helo be emphasized. Being close air support is more than running around and blowing everything in sight up.
