Ok so.. I was curious.. has anyone attempted to mod the BF2 files yet to see if any of the old "no-no's" are now modifiable? Such as magazine size on weapons, etc..

If nobody has tried yet I'll see what happens, I just didn't want to duplicate someone else's efforts

It will be interesting. My other machine (the one I used for ssm discovery), will hopefully be rehabilitated soon, and may the spoils of ssming come forth!

Well ive been trying it using standart test methods and it wont work, you get exactly the same problem as in bf42, a ctd.
Its a shame really.
But i did notice its way harder to cchange the amount of ammo on standart weaponry. In pistols its defined, but i cant find it anywhere in the m16a2 for example. It seems its a default settings, but when i add the amm lines like they did in the pistol it didnt work.
