This certainly make life easy for BF2 now.. There are whispers of '42 arriving too. Im sure that would encourage plenty of people to come back to the game..

having it on the steam network makes for fast reinstalls without any patching ever again (..well if another patch does arrive it will auto patch in steam).. it comes bundled with the booster packs too for convienience (free with the patch anyway but this makes it easier..) plus you can easily instal...

trial is free.. the interface is pretty friendly but you need some good scripting knowledge to use it fully.. try the example games.. its as professional as your skills are from what I can tell. theres enough brains here to make something good of it though. try those paradise and 'avert fate' links ...

After packing a map with winRFA I can test.. come out of game.. make changes to to files and then literally hit 'pack' again and the paths are all set.. it takes a few seconds to repack so I don really see where your delay is? what are you using to pack the maps. So I never played this before.. but a simple question.. by creating a mod for this am I right in thinking you effectively have a game that can be played multiplayer and dont need a serial? so you could almost package up the mod as a standalone file for anyone to use? Im about to start looking at it ...
