I have done some searching on this subject but have come up empty handed, so forgive me if this is a repeat. I do have experience in client side modding but server side is new to me. Hopefully what I am trying to accomplish is possible. And here we go... Is it possible to edit both client and server... |

Haha Yes well what you are trying to do wont work serverside or as we say (ss) you cannot edit the objects.rfa ss period other clients objects have to match the servers objects instead of changing the mod files try doing this mapside unfortunately you cannot make custom kits but you can change the ... |

Another forgotten detail on my part, sorry. I've looked through all the tabs in BVRM but I don't see a content check. Li... |

Turn off Pure mode on the first tab. Nope, I don't see that either. I assume by the first tab you mean "Server". The only place I found reference to "Content Check" was on the "Status" tab. There it reads "Content check: ??" Thanks for you help, by the way. S... |

Oh okay, I've never actually run a BFV server before. I didn't know that they lacked pure mode. I don't even know what "Pure Mode" is, but I assume it has something to do with default file sizes...maybe...somehow. Thanks for your help. SawBones EDIT: I did a search for BFV Content Check a... |

Apologies for the double post. I just wanted to update my current situation should anyone else be hitting the same brick wall that I am at the moment. After learning that I need to find a Content Check setting on my server, I did some digging around it. I did find, under ../bfvietnam/settings/, a fi... |

What you're doing is kind of like making a mini-mod. There's a couple things you could do: A) Have your friends/family members download objects.rfa to play on your server B) Make it an official 'mini-mod'..so it has its own folder in BFV\Mods. I think the mod development toolkit can do this for BFV... |

Thats VERY weird indeed that server/client having the same objects.rfa was giving that message. I didn't understand thats what you did. Glad its working now though! No doubt. I think BFV is just weird to begin with in some respects. I'm sure we all have our BFV WTF!? stories...this certainly went s... |
